WORK EXPERIENCE

MARGULIES PERRUZZI ARCHITECTS

Project Architect - November 2015 - Present

Thomson Place - Seaport Neighborhood, Boston, MA

• I am the Project Architect, responsible for the design and coordination of the core and shell restoration, preservation and re-positioning of six, 150 year old brick and timber buildings in Boston’s historic Fort Point neighborhood, which involved creating construction document sets and presentations for review by the Boston Planning & Development Agency and the Fort Point Historic Landmarks Commission.

• I support the Project Manager from initial owner’s demising studies, from the creation of existing drawings through on-site field measuring and studying of historical drawings & photos as well as the design of new exterior facade systems and lowering the existing floor levels to grade, while maintaining the history and character of the existing buildings.

• Completed a number of tenant fit out drawing sets for bid and construction for restaurant and retail uses as well as being tasked with bringing the jobs through the CA phase to project completion. Tenants I have worked with include the Trillium Brewery, Trader Joe’s grocery store, One Kings Lane retail store, Bartaco Restaurant and Dig Inn restaurants.

• I regularly generate 3D models, renderings and presentation material of the campus for the client’s marketing and leasing team in efforts to seek out future tenants.
